  • Buy software in uk considering € equivalence

    Hello,

Quick question please, does anyone know any good retailer in the UK selling Autodesk and Adobe Software ?

Considering British pound equivalence in €, I'd like to buy some goods...

BTW, does anyone know if I can buy a UK Adobe/Autodesk licence and "be legit" in my country (Belgium for instance) ?

I've found this site : http://www.ecostsoftware.com, any experience with it for someone ?

Thank you very much for your time.
    Regards

I see no reason why you couldn't buy the software in pounds, take advantage of the strong euro, but I suppose you could ask them to find out! We've bought from CAD-CABS and Freehand both in England.

Just verify that everything is ok with the Licence Agreement because we had a lot of trouble in the past to migrate some US ACAD license to use them here in Italy

I think we use http://www.cadpoint.co.uk/ , they must be ok on price because our IT guy always checks these things.

The only problem I can see in Autodesk products is the steering wheel will be on the other side of the screen.

                I would recommend bluegfx too.

                Also try:

                http://www.jigsaw24.com/Results.aspx?KD=autodesk

Pricing compared to bluegfx is better...not sure about their support though..I know bluegfx offer very good support. Bluegfx should be able to match the prices too.
                Regards

I personally wouldn't use Bluegfx as they were the company in the uk that tried to rip off VRay users for their dongles a couple of years ago.

I found http://exactprice.co.uk/ excellent (apart from the naff website but their prices were the best) and when I had issues with Lic they sorted it out very quickly. They are part of the http://www.excitech.co.uk/ group so you get their industy mag every so often )
I dealt with a guy named Mike Price.

They knew I lived in Ireland as did Autodesk when it came to registration and there was no problem, even my local reseller said that thre was nothing stopping me buying it abroad, hence it was no brainer €€€€€

                    Hope that helps,
                    Tom
